Linda Tool awarded Cost Share Grant for Green Roof Installation

Linda Tool was awarded a Cost Share Grant from the Department of Energy for the installation and monitoring of an extensive “Green Roof” on its Red Hook, Brooklyn facility. This grant was obtained through the hard work of Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez and Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corp. Chris Shepard of SBIDC was instrumental in obtaining the grant in conjunction with Congresswoman Velazquez’s Office while Elizabeth Demetriou and Michael DiMarino coordinated the installation.
