- A/C system has HEPA filtration in the return air plenums and this system runs 24/7, 365 days per year to ensure clean air quality
- “Mist Collectors” are installed on every machine tool to make sure that none of the mist created from machining is introduced into the shop air.
- Cardboard, paper and soda bottles are recycled.
- Cardboard containers are reused for shipping when possible.
- Where possible recycled plastic containers are used for repetitive shipping.
- Changed cleaning & degreasing fluids to aqueous based fluids.
- Changed to a semi-synthetic coolant which reduced waste coolant by 60%.
- Recycles all chips form machining operations.
- Installed high velocity air hand dryers to cut the consumption of waste paper in the company locker room.
- Installed semi-extensive “Green Roof” which has reduced air conditioner and heating oil usage while maintaining a better climate in the work space.
